breck visit

as the season wraps up, i wanted to make at least one more photo trip out west. so i called my friends kara rennie and jordie karlinski who i met last season on the nikita trip. a super saver continental ticket later and i am back in the hills.
we have been on a few missions so far, first one was a bit of a bummer because the speed needed to make the cool happen just wasn't there.

oh well, still got to head up to breck and ride the mountain a bit. their terrain park looks as nice as ever and we managed to find a few patches of blue sky and sun to shoot in. by the end of the day we were looking at full on spring conditions in the pipe and some good times.
the japanese national team was there, man those guys were good.

this was my tribute to lee friedlander whos exhibit i just saw at the cleveland museum of art. lee liked to put himself and his shadows in the frame...

after the day on the hill we set up a bit of a night shot, super stoked on the outcome, you will have to guess what happened here...
