yeah, yeah...yeah's

fantastic show last night. make sure to catch the yeah yeah's if they are coming to your town. we were standing on the side and i had trouble getting the whole band in the shot, so you will just see a lot of karen o. below... but that is also because she is a rock star, a performer, and it is hard not to look at her when she is on stage because she owns it. enjoy

one of the greatest polaroid projects ever...

posting those polaroid pics got me to thinking about polaroid pics... without a doubt one of my favorite polaroid projects ever was the cover of the 1978 talking heads album "more songs about buildings and food". the cover featured a portrait of the band made up of 600 series polaroids. the original is in the rock hall here in cleveland and is huge. each little box is a 600 series polaroid, so you can get the idea... best part of all, it was created by david bryne who, for those you do not know, is the band's lead singer and a creative mastermind.

it's trailer time...

new trailers are being dropped all over the place for the upcoming snow flicks... the riding all over the place looks amazing, starting to get me excited and starting to get me hating on anyone who is out having fun in new zeland or south america or even up on the glaciers. out of all the ones currently out ther, i particularly like the new absinthe trailer because it uses one of my all time favorite songs as well as having some amazing powder shots... so please enjoy

this is a picture of the nikita store in chamonix, france with a giant lit up photo of maribeth that i took... pretty fun, although i have to say i am sad i never got to go over and see it for myself. oh well, it is a nice midday ego boost on an otherwise shitty day.
