it is a great line delivered by a great performer who apparently makes some great chicken. but i am on the road again. currently in vegas using internet that costs $12 a minute or something stupid. isn't this the place that use to comp the kitchen sink? now it is the exact opposite. i think i had to pay extra to get sheets on my bed... nevermind all that, trip is going well. below are some obligatory travel shots from a drive through the desert. rockin' and rollin' to led zep in the middle of the mojave in a 10 passenger cargo van was pretty rad, i recommend it to those of you who like far out drives and good rock 'n roll....
hope everyone is well!

travel day
today i began my month long odyssey on the road. in typical fashion i sat on the runway and in airports for almost as much time as i actually traveled. i do not mind my time in the airports. airports to me are the ritz of people watching. there are not too many places where you have people willing to come and get themselves into uncomfortable unnatural situations with other strangers. socks on, belts off, shuffling through security trying to look as innocent and nonmilitant as possible... below is what arizona or new mexico looks like from 35,000 feet, enjoy.

harry hurt III
now i don't want to make fun of anyone here, but for a good laugh please check out new york times correspondent harry hurt III and his adventures learning to snowboard. after authoring such works as "how to learn to golf" it seems harry has turned his interests to new sports. click right HERE to find out what this snowboarding business is all about. (note: please pay close attention to harry's choices of words such as shred, dude and dudette)
