i used to be a skier and think there are some amazing things happening out there these days on skis... this goes double when you see where freestyle skiing has come from...wtf

bowie bowie bowie

received a late christmas gift from my good friend ron at rome... i really have no words to describe because it embodies so many things i hold dear. i am a big fan of snowboarding and an equally big fan of david bowie. rome has gone and brought the two together in the 390 binding... and it is marvelous, so stunning i almost cannot look directly at it. i did take some pictures but be careful, to stare at bowie and sparkles is like staring at the sun.

midwest shred

new years day. a day for thinking about resolution, nursing a hangover and even hitting a kink rail. made the drive down south to kent, oh to meet up with some of the folks from syndicate to shoot a rail and have some fun. it was midwest bluebird with a fresh 3 inches on the ground. not a bad way to bring in the new year. i am sorry to report that with the combination of all that new snow and the lack of grade, as well as the lack of a drop in and/or extra folks to help tow, we were unsuccessful. but mom's were still insulted and fun was still had. enjoy the pics below.
